Assistance with Gardening
Do you love gardening and/or growing your own vegetables? I do too! Yet it's heartbreaking if you're struggling to plant or get the pruning done on time, if the weeds are taking over the flowerbeds, or the pests are munching through the vegies quicker than you are. Or do you just love spending time in the garden, looking through other gardens and attending garden expos? If you would love some assistance with any of these things, please let me know.
TOOLS
If you don't have your own tools, don't worry! I can supply my own. (NB: at an additional fee) I am well experienced in their operation & safety, and I use my own PPE. I have the following equipment available.
- Hand tools (secateurs, weeder, trowels, shovels, etc.)
- Mower
- Straightshaft brushcutter
- Edger
- Reticulating pruning saw
- Extension pole pruners
- Electric mulcher
- Pressure sprayers
GENERAL DIY PROJECTS
Assistance with DIY Projects
Do you have minor repairs needing to be done? (eg that door handle is loose, the tap washers need replacing, the outdoor furniture needs reoiling) Then I'm the woman for the job. Is there some DIY project that you're dreaming of doing but need assistance with? I'm more than happy to discuss your ideas, help you come up with a plan and assist you in getting it done.
I consider myself a good "all-rounder", a kind of Jill-of-all-trades, with a vast bank of knowledge and experience that I can draw upon to help you out. My father was a builder and I helped him a lot when I was growing up, learning along the way. I can do carpentry, plaster, sand and paint, tile & masonry and can fix most things. I'm known among my friend as a DIY Queen!
